Do I need a new roof or a repair?
The inspection answers that. A few lifted shingles or one failed flashing can be repaired. If the decking is soft across the roof, replacing it usually costs less than chasing leaks one at a time.
What goes under the new shingles?
Synthetic underlayment instead of felt paper, over decking we have checked and replaced where it was rotten.
How are the shingles fastened?
Six nails per shingle instead of the standard four, so they hold better in Gulf Coast wind.
Will there be nails left in my yard?
We run a magnet sweep over the driveway and the lawn before we leave.
How much does a new roof cost?
It depends on the size of the roof, how much decking needs replacing and the shingle you pick. We price it after the inspection.
How soon can someone come out?
Send the form and we text you back to find a time, usually the same day. Most inspections happen within a few days, sooner if water is getting in.
